Listed here are some of the resources I use in my research and study. It is not an exhaustive list.
The Bible — always the first place to go and the last place to go. It is the Word of God and is authoritative and infallible. The various translations, however — not so much. 🙂
Wikipedia — While I know that it is not totally trustworthy or unbiased, it is still a great resource for quick facts (or untruths – hah!) about just about any topic.
